Socks and Tights are important because Lolitas never wear dresses without covering their legs. 

Lolitas wear long or short socks depending on the seasons, with or without prints. The cuter the details (cakes, sweets, bunnies, bears, bows, hearts, etc.), the more kawaii the socks and the better your sweet lolita outfit! 

Plain socks, sometimes decorated with laces, ribbons, bows, pearls, will be perfect for more elegant and princess-like outfits. 

There are different types and length of Socks: 

 - Crew length socks : these are short socks that reach the ankle. 

 - Overknees, ou OTK : with tights fabric or sock fabric, these long socks reach over the knees. 

- Underknees : in sock fabric, these socks reach under the knees.  

-  Tights : these are tights that cover the entire legs.
